Description
Mākona and his sisters Pipiana and Māhina find wondrous things when they go out to see some of the Matariki celebrations in Kapiti. Dad, mum and ‘baby bump’ come along, too.
About the Author
Åsa came from Sweden to study for one year at Paraparaumu College. She met her partner, and they later settled in Raumati, raising two children bilingually. When returning to Sweden, Åsa teaches in a multicultural primary school. She currently works in a kindergarten on the Kapiti Coast and speaks Te Reo Māori as much as she can.
