Description
Knighton Normal School is a multi-cultural school, with children from over 70 different nations! This is celebrated every day – but especially at their yearly Cultural Festival.
About the Author
Åsa came from Sweden to study for one year at Paraparaumu College. She met her partner, and they later settled in Raumati, raising two children bilingually. When returning to Sweden, Åsa teaches in a multicultural primary school. She currently works in a kindergarten on the Kapiti Coast and speaks Te Reo Māori as much as she can.
