Description
Ammar and his family are Muslim, practising the faith of Islam. Part of a Muslim’s life is to fast for a period every year. It’s called Ramadan and has a nice celebration at the end – Eid.
About the Author
Åsa came from Sweden to study for one year at Paraparaumu College. She met her partner, and they later settled in Raumati, raising two children bilingually. When returning to Sweden, Åsa teaches in a multicultural primary school. She currently works in a kindergarten on the Kapiti Coast and speaks Te Reo Māori as much as she can.
